Item: Sail Option

Main and jib total nearly 70 sq ft of sail area. Rugged PVC coated 6.5 oz fabric, double stitched seams and brass grommets for years of service. The main has one reef point, two removable battens and tie on PVC mast rings. The fractional jib has a sewn-in bolt rope in luff.  All halyards, lines and shrouds are 5 mm pre-stretched polyester core line with braid cover and over 1500 lb breaking strength.  Boom and 16.5 ft three piece mast of white powder coated T6061-T6 aluminum, as is the tiller. Light, strong and gorgeous.  The daggerboard and kick-up rudder blades are laminated Euro Birch, laminated with polyester resin and clear epoxy sealed and finished to highlight the tiger-stripe effect of the aerofoil shaping in the multi-ply wood. Rudder cheeks and top of daggerboard are made of tough, zero maintenance, HDPE marine board.
